HRA conducted a case-control study using multivariate statistical techniques to assess associations between supplement use and the risk of selected adverse medical health effects among U.S. Army soldiers, adjusting for behavioral, demographic, and military characteristics. Results were presented to the Surgeon General to inform policy decisions.
